Bovine Blitz is a weapon introduced in Worms 4: Mayhem, and is a replacement of the Mad Cows weapon from earlier games in the series. When selected, three Mad Cows with Parachutes are dropped from a helicopter. Bovine Blitz reappears in Worms: Ultimate Mayhem, and appears once again in Worms Clan Wars and Worms Battlegrounds, although in these two games, up to five Cows can be dropped instead. A major downside to Bovine Blitz in Worms Clan Wars and Worms Battlegrounds is that the Cows are completely affected by the wind, making the weapon less useful than it was before, despite the two extra Cows which can be dropped in this version.
Description[]

Bovine Blitz in action.
An interesting bombardment of three paratrooping Cows.
This weapon is great if you want to hit enemy Worms in a line. Besides doing rather good blast damage, this is a weapon that you can control where the Cows end up along the line.
Tips & Tricks[]
- In the 3D games, the chopper can be moved from side to side to reach your targets more precisely, although it is a little slow.
- Along with Team Weapons, Bovine Blitz is probably the most useful weapon in the 3D games, especially with Double Damage. Use it wisely.
- If there is no Double Damage, it is highly recommended to drag three Oil Drums towards three enemy Worms (one Oil Drum each Worm) using the Ninja Rope. This is a great tactic, as it would do enough damage to kill all three Worms (only if they have 100 HP each) and cause major damage to the opponent's team.
Trivia[]
- The Bovine Blitz Cows have the same appearance as the Mad Cows in Worms 3D.
