The Old Woman is a walking weapon who first appears in Worms: The Director's Cut. She works much like a Sheep, save that she is considered a special weapon and deals much more damage. She is also much slower.
3D version
"This old dear is good for getting those "hard-to-reach" foes. Her ability to cunningly navigate (albeit very slowly) around parts of the landscape is a very unorthdox but valuable trait. With your aid, she could cause more chaos than pension collection day!"
Since there is the ability to manually navigate it is always better to try and get your explosion to occur on the side which is facing away from a high ledge or watery front, this way when she pops her clogs the enemy should be propelled to certain doom (be it off a cliff face or into the water, dependant on the enemy locale).
Trivia
- The Old Woman is one of the few weapons that can collect Crates. The other ones are the Sheep, Super Sheep, Aqua Sheep, Mole, Skunk and Inflatable Scouser.
- An Old Woman named Ethel is a playable character in Worms Blast.
- In Worms DC, her hair is green due to that pixelated graphics and doesn't wear glasses.
- When deployed in said game, she says "I can't remember his name," as opposed to mumbling in other games.
