Worms 2: Armageddon is a strategy game developed and published by Team17. It was first released on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft points on the first of July 2009. On September 8 2010, the game was released on the PlayStation Network in Europe. By October 28 2010, the game was released globally on iPhone and iPad.

Worms 2: Armageddon is a sequel to Worms (2007). This game also appears in the Worms Collection. It made another retail appearance as part of Worms: The Revolution Collection, which was released on May 3rd, 2013, exclusively on the Xbox 360.

An expanded version of this game titled Worms Reloaded was released for the PC on August 26, 2010.

The bold weapons and utilities are only available with the Battle Pack DLC, with the exception of the iOS version (due to what is likely an oversight by Team17, the weapons are invisible but still can be accessed by tapping the location of where the weapon would be if the DLC was purchased. Invisibility is also invisible in the select screen, regardless of whether or not the DLC was purchased.)

Italicized weapons are new in Worms 2: Armageddon (excluding the DLC weapons) or returning weapons that were not in Open Warfare 2.
