Worms 2: Armageddon is a strategy game developed and published by Team17. It was first released on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft points on 1 July 2009. On 8 September 2010, the game was released on the PlayStation Network in Europe. By 28 October 2010, the game was released globally on iPhone and iPad.
Worms 2: Armageddon is a sequel to Worms (2007). This game also appears in the Worms Collection. It made another retail appearance as part of Worms: The Revolution Collection, which was released on May 3rd, 2013, exclusively on the Xbox 360.
An expanded version of this game titled Worms Reloaded was released for the PC on August 26, 2010.

Utilities[]
The bold weapons and utilities are only available with the Battle Pack DLC, with the exception of the iOS version (due to what is likely an oversight by Team17, the weapons are invisible but still can be accessed by tapping the location of where the weapon would be if the DLC was purchased. Invisibility is also invisible in the select screen, regardless of whether or not the DLC was purchased.)
Italicized weapons are new in Worms 2: Armageddon (excluding the DLC weapons) or returning weapons that were not in Open Warfare 2.

Worms 2: Armageddon includes 25 achievements in the Xbox 360 version, and 75 trophies in the PlayStation 3 version.
Downloadable Content[]

The Battle Pack includes new weapons, missions, and game styles. The Puzzle, Forts, Time Attack, and Retro packs contain new content originally developed for Worms Reloaded. The free Mayhem Pack was released to promote Worms: Ultimate Mayhem.
Reception[]
The critics' reaction to the game has been generally positive. As of August 17, 2010, it has a rating of 84% on Metacritic, based on twenty three reviews. IGN gave it a score of 8.5/10, concluding: "This is one of the most fun multiplayer games around, and now the single-player campaign provides a satisfying experience, as well."
