Worms Wiki is an encyclopedia about a game series called Worms, launched at 13:42 (UTC) on March 16, 2006. The founder of the wiki is unknown.

On 18 September 2010, Worms Wiki was adopted by Koenachtig, who was given administrative and bureaucratic privileges. On the next day, he promoted Orangitu to administrative status, and since then, the wiki has now reached over 200 unique articles.

Koenachtig became inactive in mid-2012, while Orangitu did so in early 2013. It wasn't until December 2013 that Orangitu came back. Orangitu acquired bureaucrat rights in early 2014, and promoted Danuhau to an admin in early February 2014 and a bureaucrat in early April 2014.

In late November 2014, Q* was promoted to administrator, though he was demoted less than a week later due to conflicts with Danuhau over alleged sockpuppetry on the latter's part.

Koenachtig came back to the wiki in January of 2015, and is actively editing as of now. As of 30 January 2015, Boggy B has also been granted administrator privileges.

The first logo of Worms Wiki was made by Orangitu. It was added on 20 September 2010. After 2 days, Orangitu added a custom artwork for the background that was made by a user named NitrousOxideSystem on DeviantArt.

During October, most wikis on Wikia switched to a new skin that required it's logo (wordmark) and background to be renewed. The logo and background was added on 9 October 2010 by Orangitu. The background was probably cropped and edited from the cover of Worms 2: Armageddon, which is the latest game before its extended edition, Worms: Reloaded.

On September 29th, 2012, the wiki's "cropped boxshot" background was replaced with the encircled W background. This was done by Orangitu, and his reasoning was that he thinks the old background was distracting, and was an eyesore.

After suggestions by some anonymous users, the wiki's background was updated to be a screenshot from Worms Armageddon in mid-April 2014.

  • On 5 September 2010, the wiki reached 100th articles with Warzone by Koenachtig.
  • The most popular page on the wiki is Worms Reloaded.
